Clear OLED Touchscreens
The Action 5 Pro features a larger screen area and smaller bezels on its large 2.5″ OLED back touchscreen with 1000 cd/m² brightness. The 1.46″ front OLED screen features 800 cd/m² brightness and is convenient for vlogging and framing selfies and supports commonly used touch control functions. No more turning the camera around for parameter adjustments, mode switching, or video playback. When the camera is switched between horizontal and vertical orientations, the user interface adapts accordingly. The touchscreens are also sensitive enough to be operated easily with wet hands.
Super Slow-Motion Capture
Slow down those action shots with 32x Super Slow Motion. The Action 5 Pro’s powerful 4nm chip enables frame-by-frame analysis and 4x frame interpolation for up to 32x slow motion. Shoot at 1080p240 and produce the video equivalent of 960 fps in post.
HorizonSteady, HorizonBalancing, RockSteady
This smart stabilization feature helps to eliminate camera shake in all directions, and even horizontally corrects tilt at any angle in 2.7K60 video. That means footage can remain horizontally level, even through heavy bumps and 360° rotations. In addition, you can activate HorizonBalancing, which corrects the tilt horizontally within ±45° and supports recording stable 4K60 videos. RockSteady 3.0 effectively reduces shakes while retaining the dynamic impact of motion, delivering a more immersive first-person perspective and supporting video recording up to 4K120.
