POWERPAK CLAMSHELL LIGHT REFLECTOR DIFFUSER WITH CARRY BAG (66 X 24″)
The 66 x 24″ Powerpak Clamshell Light Reflector Diffuser with Carry Bag is an advanced reflector system featuring reversible silver/black and sunlight/white fabrics that has a unique U-shape, arc-like design that follows the natural curvature of the human eye. The reflector uses tension rods and screw knobs to pull the reflective fabric taut to maximize the light output. It has a 5/8″ receiver to mount it on a separately purchased light stand, while the built-in swivel stand mount allows the reflector to be tilted 90° for the desired effect.
The silver side creates a somewhat specular light with cool tones and is good for long throw work. The white fabric produces a soft, subtle fill with neutral tones and retains some mild shadows under the chin. The gold fabric creates a late afternoon or intimate look that offsets the blue cast in open shade, while the black surface exhibits “negative reflection” meaning that it enhances the shadows and creates a lighting ratio from flat light. A carry bag is included for storage and transport.
Make Eyes Pop with Arc-shaped Design
Powerpak Clamshell Reflector imitates the curvature of human eyes and bounces crescent catchlights to make the eyes sparkle in portrait photography. The light is seamlessly reflected from three perspectives to eliminate shadows, The fabric is suited for strobes, monolights, LED lights, and even natural sunlight.
Tool-Free Assembly
Six interlocking curved tubes, two rugged metal rods, and screw knobs enable you to assemble the frame in minutes without any tools. The curved tubes and rods can smoothly slip through the rod pockets and stretch the reflector taut.
Adjustable Angles
The swivel stand mount can directly snap on the back of the frame and tilt up and down on a separately purchased light stand for various reflection angles. Screw knobs help you secure the mount on a stand and adjust angles with ease.
Multiple Colors
The reflector features two surfaces. A silver one that bounces light with high contrast and a black one that reduces excessive reflection. A double-sided cover (gold and white) gives you more light effects, and the hook-and-loop fasteners make color-changing a breeze.
