8K30 360° Video
The X4 Air features ultrasharp 8K resolution, making reframed video comparable to standard camera footage for easier matching edits. Since the footage is captured using high-quality H.265 compression, the 8K files remain manageable enough to edit using the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio.
NOTE: Shooting in 8K consumes more power than lower resolutions. Use 8K in bright daylight conditions; it is recommended to lower the capture resolution when shooting in low-light environments.
6K / 4K Capture and Me Mode
The X4 Air supports up to 8K30, 6K48, and 4K60 video for smooth shots at ultrahigh resolution. The camera also features Me Mode, which records 170° field-of-view flat video, perfect for POV shots using an invisible selfie stick.
