BEAUTIFUL BOKEH As a fast medium-telephoto prime lens with a f/1.8 aperture, capture beautiful bokeh with smooth gradation – giving your shots a greater sense of depth, while still keeping emphasis on your main subject. With an extremely sharp focal plane across the entire shooting range, capture great images with shallow depths of field.
SHARP FROM ANY DISTANCE Experience superb imaging performance from any focus distance with the lens’ multi-focusing system. Thanks to this new multi-focusing system, that gives an upgraded autofocus accuracy and speed, the lens delivers enhanced image quality with detailed textures while effectively reducing any aberrations.
With two extra-low dispersion (ED) glass elements, the lens also minimises colour fringing and corrects various lens aberrations. Capture great backlit portraits with the Nano Crystal Coat that reduces ghostings and flares. The lens delivers the exact point-to-point rendering by the compensation of the sagittal coma flare that would occur in many lenses.
MOVIES MADE EASY Making movies has never been easier and better with the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.8 S. With a customisable control ring, and a stepping motor (STM) for silent and accurate autofocus control, you can capture your scene quickly and quietly without any disturbance. Greater diaphragm control ensures you can smoothly change aperture and transition between different lighting environments easily.
SMOOTH SHOOTING EXPERIENCE Perfection is at your fingertips. For smoother and more intuitive shooting experience, an easy-to-operate control ring gives access to a myriad of functions, such as aperture adjustment and exposure compensation. Agile for your camera kit at approximately 470g, with dust and drip-resistant performance, this lens ensures you have a comfortable shooting experience whether it be for stills or movies.
